| All-level bluegrass jam. We generally pass the breaks around enough times so that each player gets as many attempts as he/she wants. This jam takes place at the Madison County Nature Trail Pavilion, on Green Mountain. |

"Although the title says, "slow jam," the tempo of each tune is set by the person who chooses the tune. The group is very supportive of any skill level and will even play the same tune at different tempos if requested. Come prepared to suggest a few songs." |

Kimberly, Alabama Senior Center. About 15 miles north of Birmingham. Turn east from US Highway 31, at Church of God onto Stouts Road. Go one block and turn left at next stop sign, near police and fire station. Senior Center is about one block on right. (Former location was at a small building about a half mile further down on Stouts Road) |

| Music begins at 7PM and lasts until everybody goes home - often after midnight. Mostly bluegrass, some country and about anything unamplified. |
