State
of Colorado Bluegrass Jams
| JAM LOCATION:
Denver, Colorado |
| White Fence Farm Thursday
Bluegrass Jams - on w. Jewell, east of Wadworth, Denver, CO |
| Every Thursday except January |
|
This is a traditional jam,
around a single circular mic (so the music can be broadcast on
the grounds) Anyone who wants to participate can join in. No special
arrangements are made to include those sitting on the sidelines.
Most of the pickers are experiences, but it is a good place for
beginners to learn. We have several people who are just learning
who sit back and play along unobtrusively. These jams are sponsored
by the CBMS and the Bluegrass Music Preservation Society.
Note: NO amplified or electric
instruments at this jam. It is an acoustic jam... no drums please!
