the grounds) Anyone who wants to participate can join in. No special
arrangements are made to include those sitting on the sidelines.
Most of the pickers are experiences, but it is a good place for
beginners to learn. We have several people who are just learning
who sit back and play along unobtrusively. These jams are sponsored
by the CBMS and the Bluegrass Music Preservation Society.

Is your jam session a slow jam - I haven't played in years, but picked it up a couple of years ago and played in a "fun band" which included just about everything in amateur music, but it sure was fun. Do you know of anything around Littleton (I live by downtown Littleton) where I might fit in? I would appreciate any info you could pass on to me. Also, do you know of a "fiddle" teacher? If you jam at The Shack, you probably know Melanie Opitz. My daughter, Sally, is married to Melanie's brother, Jerry Call.
