"My friends and I from Fostoria just wouldn't miss this awesome bluegrass jam at the Findly Moose! It's really become the highlight of each and every month for us and we'd like to say thanks to the Findlay Moose Lodge...

But most of all, "thank you, thank you, thank you" to all the great players and singers who give their all and have such great love for the music. They're totally dedicated to the music they love to play so much... and it really shows!

Even though we can't play instruments, we love the music just as much as they do. Always looking forward to the next jam! Best regards to you all and thank you!"

This is realy not a jam, but a constant stage show. If you like listening and not actually jamming, this is the place for you. Pickers don't have much of a chance to interact except from behind a microphone. Arrive hungry because the food is great !

-Jay Jay -Ohio

One of the best. check it out and you will see....
-Ohio

My wife and i have been there several times as watchers.  vern and jeanie have a nice place.  take a dish to share with others.  my only complaint is if you get there at the starting time seats are hard to find as lots of people come to watch and enjoy.
- Van-Ohio

I am a beginning banjo picker wannabe. Are you folks havin' any jams currently and can a fella like me, who really only kinda knows one (1) song; Cripple Creek, sit in, like in the background? Sure hope you are. I'd like to see if I can play along with a group.
Thanks in advance. Bob Poiry-OH

"This is the best jam I have attended. Not just one big jam. The seperate rooms make it more enjoyable because there aren't too many pickers in a session."

-Bob, Ohio

"After driving over an hour to this place, there was no one there. The telephone number is the answering machine of the park ranger, who never answers the phone. I wouldn't recommend going there unless you can verify someone is playing at the time you call."

-Brent from Texas

"This is the best jam in Northeast Ohio. Lots of room for different styles and skill levels"

- Earl, Ohio

"The months of the year that the jam is going on should be listed. The poor guy from Texas probably came during the summer. "

" This jam is great but is closed through the summer months, better check "

- Glynn

" I just come for a visit up from South Carolina and I had a great time pickin and grinnin with the folks that come out to Quale Hollow State Park. The different rooms made it interesting to meet, play with, or just listen in to the fine pickers here in Northeast ,Ohio. Wether you are a beginner or an old timer there's a circle you'll fit right in with. :o) Hope to visit again soon"

"Do not waste your time. It is all about the ones running the jam. They do not have a sign up sheet and you wait till the end of the night when everyone has left after the 50/50. you only get one  possibly two songs after the twelve or more regulars crowd the stage and do four or five songs before any jammers get up. The people who run a jam session should realize they are not the stars and it is about the people not them. After all if they were that good what are they still doing here?"
